Another alternative to Laser Vision Correction is clear lens extraction, which is also known as Refractive Lens Exchange.  Clear lens Extraction is the removal of a noncataractous natural lens of the eye with an intraocular lens replacement as a refractive procedure. Thanks to medical and surgical advancements in recent years, clear lens surgery has become one of the gentlest medical procedures performed today.
