Meet Our Doctors Dr. Aaron Porter Eye Surgeon / Physician

Dr. Aaron Porter joined McPeak Vision Partners in the summer of 2002.  Dr. Porter has the unique distinction of that he is both an optometrist (OD) and an ophthalmologist (MD), and the lead LASIK surgeon at McPeak Vision Partners.

Dr. Porter graduated with a pre-optometry degree from the College of Biological Sciences at Ohio State University, and also his degree of Optometry from Ohio State.  He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and spent his internship at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.  Dr. Porter entered his residency program at Vanderbilt University and spent a year as the Chief Resident in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Porter was published with his article "SITA Visual Field Testing in Children" in the Journal of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and has presented to the National Meeditng for Clinical Pathology.  Dr. Porter is a member of the American Medical Association and American Academy of Ophthalmology.
