Meet Dr. Higdon-Wilkins

Amanda Higdon-Wilkins, O.D. is an optometrist at McPeak Vision Partners, serving patients in Bowling Green, KY with top-quality comprehensive optometric care.

Dr. Higdon-Wilkins is a native of Grayson County and a graduate of Grayson County High School. She graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduating from the University of Louisville, she attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. As a student, she was awarded outstanding clinician her fourth year and received membership into the Golden Key Honor Society.

She is a member of the American Optometric Association and served on the Kentucky Optometric Board of Trustees from 2010-2013. Dr. Higdon-Wilkins and her husband reside in Franklin, KY, with their three children.
